Muhammad got big mad about being laughed at by the rabbis that he wrote additions to the qur'an claiming jews must be killed and the earlier passages about living in peace are superseded by the new contradicting additions.

There's also a story in the qur'an about one of Muhammad's wives confronting him about sneaking out at night and cheating on her in violating of Muhammad's own laws...
... then suddenly "god" gives Muhammad a vision message about how he's the only exception to the rule and his wife should STFU and make him a sandwich.
