So yeah, that's actually a big part of Christian eschatology too. He is going to come back at the End of Time, as a conqueror. But there won't be much of a war because His army will pretty much win immediately. Don't think their will be magic duels, though. His coming will pretty much put an end to every bad thing going on. Maybe He will blast all the reprobate in something that looks like a nuclear explosion, after He whisks that Elect away. Who knows? Immediately after this, all men who have died will be resurrected from the dead. And those who were with Him will be given a new Earth (with no corruption, disease, pestilence, etc.) and a new Heaven to live in. And the rest will be cast into a Lake of Fire to burn in severe agony forever.
>And the rest will be cast into a Lake of Fire to burn in severe agony forever.
I actually disagree with this last point.
The pop culture version of hell sounds nonsensical.
"If you get sent to hell you burn but you are somehow immune to being destroyed by the fire and yet despite being immune to being destroyed by it you can somehow feel pain from it forever."
Literally nowhere in the bible does it say that will happen.
In the bible, creatures who are sent to hell are not mentioned afterwards, which implies that the fire simply annihilates them utterly, leaving nothing left.
The "eternal torture" thing was invented by edgy retards and BDSM fetishists.
Daniel 12:2
And many of those that sleep in the dust of the earth, shall awake: some unto life everlasting, and others unto reproach, to see it always.
Matthew 25:41
Then he shall say to them also that shall be on his left hand: Depart from me, you cursed, into everlasting fire which was prepared for the devil and his angels.
Matthew 25:46
And these shall go into everlasting punishment: but the just, into life everlasting.
Mark 9:47-48
Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not extinguished. For every one shall be salted with fire: and every victim shall be salted with salt.
Revelation 14:11
And the smoke of their torments shall ascend up for ever and ever: neither have they rest day nor night, who have adored the beast, and his image, and whoever receiveth the character of his name.
Revelation 20:10
And the false prophet shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
You just have to use a little common sense, along with Scripture, and it's pretty clear that Hell is forever. Sobering, but true. God bless!
(If he comes back one day I hope comes back as a conqueror though, because I yearn for some actual magic duels to watch.)
