Evangelical boomers were really hit hard with the "muh chosen people" trope, and since it is on the TV and radio, it must mean its true.
It comes from the scofield "bible" that was created in the late 1800s shortly after jews started calling themselves the Israelites and Hebrews, since they're obviously not the Israelites and Hebrews. This particular deception is the most important in the world by far and enables them the most, because now White people think they're some random ice cage cave man savages native to Europe and their original beliefs are pagan. Which is all nonsense.
