My wife wanted to take our 9 y.o. daughter to see a production of The Nutcracker that's on the cheap. It's being hosted in the auditorium of a nearby HBCU where, you'd never guess, there are frequent shootings. She tried to woo me with the "ballet clientele aren't the type" and "it's an all-White ballet troupe," and I pointed out that a.) the ballet is a budget production, so nigger attendance is likely to be higher, and b.) Just because some hornets used a $5 in making their nest doesn't mean its safe or a good idea to pull it out.
I didn't quite go Scott Adams "just get the fuck away from black people," but I was close (daughter was there). I just cited that it was a completely unnecessary risk, and if they want to see The Nutcracker I'm happy to pay more for a venue that isn't in the jungle.
