Everyone goes the same place when they die. The difference between the "heaven" and the "hell" is whether the new Master is to your liking.
More literally, the Heavens are everything outside of Earth.
The Heaven and Hell which translate to Torment and Paradise are experiences granted to you by God on the Earth while alive.

"Suffer now enjoy later" "Enjoy now suffer later" is a false dichotomy.
There are very real harmful effects of harmful behavior while it is being done and afterwards. It is literally in no one's self-interest to get drunk. There is no pleasure or enjoyment from that. It is literally "suffer now and suffer later". "Drink something that tastes like poison, then suffer the effects from your liver working overtime and your brain literally shutting down.
"Enjoy" limited mental faculties and depressed sensory abilities. Then watch as you act like a fool and piss your pants." There's literally NO BENEFIT to do such a thing.
Meanwhile, the "cross" that Jesus asked us to bear was simply forebearing sin and being nice to each other. Stop doing things that actively harm you and are not in your self-interest. Stop harming other people. Pay attention to the commandments of God which are undeniably the only source of joy, happiness, etc... God literally wants you to come to this earth, "be fruitful and multiply", enjoy the things that are meant to be enjoyed, and pass away at an old age surrounded by friends and family. Stop doing sinful behavior and you can enjoy heaven on earth ("Thy kingdom come")
Someone who lived a good life without sinning in major and common ways was asked whether they regretted living a clean life serving God and fellow man. "Why would I do anything else but what I have done?" is the natural response. "What benefit is there to breaking God's laws and acting like a jerk to myself and others?" You're not missing out on depravity. You're missing out on the fruits of righteous living if you engage in it.
