It occurred to me today that Trump maybe hinted at Tarriff funded stimulus checks now because the Supreme Court is ruling on the legality of the tariffs. This way if the supreme court rules against Trump, he can blame Supreme Court for depriving everyone of their stimulus checks. A PR stunt.
