> Japan’s population of about 124 million people is projected to fall to **87 million** by 2070
Okay? What is the issue here? It's around the same number that they had in the 50s. They still exists today, nothing happened. Population can ebb and flow, in fact it should do so. It's natural.
To me the bigger issue is the uncontrolled growth of places like africa and india who are speed running spawning more and more worthless people. That is what people need to be concerned with.
The problem is the Japanese are NOT thriving - their numbers have been consistently declining for 17 years.
Unlike their culture in the 1950s, something is terribly wrong that is causing their population to slowly vanish.
The problem is, everything counts in large amounts: they need to understand why this is happening and correct it because it clearly isn't going to fix itself.
This isn't rocket science: Nobody ignores the problem of a bucket with a hole in it.
Countries like India are extremely irresponsible with their uncontrolled and unhinged population growth.
It's serious (for them).
