For instance love your enemy was taught out of context.
> Mat 5:43-44 CPDV “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor, and you shall have hatred for your enemy.’ 44. But I say to you: Love your enemies. Do good to those who hate you. And pray for those who persecute and slander you.”
So love your enemy means pray for them so they can receive enlightenment and repent of what they have done. The turn your cheek thing comes right before that passage and it is said with the same spirit. You can't pray without faith which is a form of love.
Consider that there's no charity without justice. So if you do what's right God will deliver His justice to you and your enemies.

But whoever will have denied me before men, I also will deny before my Father, who is in heaven. *34. Do not think that I came to send peace upon the earth. I came, not to send peace, but the sword.*”
Your life and soul belongs to God. Not fighting for them makes you unworthy of him.
There are good Roman Catholics out there. Ask the Holy Spirit to meet them, learn and pray together.
