Boomers are mentally retarded. They won't agree on simple facts and are unable to come to terms that they had THE BEST shake of the american system, and have sold out the generations behind them so they can have their cake and eat it too.

I haven’t watched it yet, but while stossel has had some good takes in the past, he’s also had a few awful ones too, and I’m guessing this will be another one.
Oh boy, bigger homes we can barely afford to rent a single room in, "better" cars that are harder than ever to service and take 15 years to come down in price, and we've got people in their 80s and 90s still alive to day to tell us how good we have it while we can expect to die as soon as we're unable to work!

Except nobody can really afford anything. A Ford Falcon station wagon (a family car) would cost $23,000 new. That might get you one of the cheaper Kias now. Except instead of American workers being paid middle class wages, it's koreans. Even those same 1200 sqft houses are going for $200-300k.
Point is it's harder to live cheaply but still live well. You're basically living on hand-me-downs from the debt slaves. A savvy few can get away with it but as more people try to live that way the "cheap" second hand will rise in price as well.
