My theory is life is supposed to be a roller-coaster to ensure we get the opportunities we need to grow emotionally and spiritually so we can make a rational and informed choice to embrace Jesus or deny Him.
I've heard atheist-edge-lords claim the imperfect design of the human body is proof there is no perfect God. It depends on how you define perfection: if life is supposed to be full of hardship to spark emotional and spiritual growth within the timeframe of a mortal life as old age increasingly reminds us to choose carefully, then this world and our physical bodies meet those needs perfectly. Perfectly designed by a perfect God.
