All those religions served a purpose for its time.

Good Fathers tell their sons bedtime stories that they will remember before we head to war just in case we don't come home.

Religion also helps broken soldiers returning from war.

Think of it as a morale boost that everyone needs in hard times.

I agree but we are stuck with what we have for the time being.

Doing the math- the numbers are already low to the point where cutting off others we don't 100% align with isn't beneficial for anyone.
