On another note, studies show that believing your winning increases testosterone whether you're actually winning or not.

The race and genetics also created many other religions as well. Nobody is pushing for greek mythology or paganism to make a comeback. So that isn’t necessarily the best reasoning.

All those religions served a purpose for its time.

Good Fathers tell their sons bedtime stories that they will remember before we head to war just in case we don't come home.

Religion also helps broken soldiers returning from war.

Think of it as a morale boost that everyone needs in hard times.
