I'd like to add that while having a lawyer you know and trust on retainer is a great idea, don't trust the various "self defense insurance" companies like USCCA or LawShield. Like any kind of insurance, they are scams and will look for any way to get out of defending you. I know one of them (can't remember which one) won't cover any "criminal" cases, which is convenient for them because any time you'd actually need them would be when some kike DA is trying to charge you with murder for defending yourself, and therefore would always be a criminal case.

I've considered that. Pet insurance is another scam. Most don't cover routine visits and they don't cover surgery, and the deductible is around $2,000. It's the most bullshit scam around. But yeah, that's how (((insurance))) works; it's a rigged game where they look for any excuse to weasel their way out of paying.
