It was probably over a decade before AI became publicly accessible. Modern AI is just tech from the 80s thats been refined and now everyone has access to hardware that can run it. I wouldnt be suprised if governments and intel agencies had access to it 20 years ago.
Really makes you wonder which photos and videos have been AI generated in that time and released to the public as real.
That video of Julian Assange with a glitchy/morphing collar immediately springs to mind, but I'm sure there's a whole lot more. If governments really are 20-50 years ahead of the public when it comes to tech, it puts just about everything in question. They've had time to fabricate entire lives.
It also makes me wonder if those "reptilian eye" videos of rulers were really just noticing AI glitches. You could go full schizo on this stuff, but we're living in deeper bullshit than any of us realise any way you cut it.
