Ted barely "won" his last election with a 1% margin, which I contend his "greatest ally" tipped the scales to keep their "greatest asset" in Congress. Texas is deep Purple now and nobody takes him seriously.
In a democratic system there is absolutely no consequence for doing the exact opposite of what voters voted for. If Ted loses the elections while defending Israel he'll be rewarded with a fake job somewhere and he'll probably make more money.
