Really expensive for pretty much the same ballistics, but I get what you're saying. You want any advantage you can get in a split second scenario. 1% misfire could be your life.

That was my thought before I started actually shooting the pistols chambered in .22WMR. Of the ones I've shot, I have not encountered a single misfire or jam. They shoot lasers and empty every mag I stick in them. But I also don't buy crap ammo and take religious care of firearms.
I like the profiles (slimmer than most 9mm) light weight, easy control, easy to put rounds on target, plentiful ammo, relatively cheap rounds, etc.
