I was in a relationship for many years with a girl who, when this shit ass trend picked up a ton of steam in the mid 2010s, told me she wanted to get a bunch of really shitty tats. Wanted one covering most of her left shoulder, another covering a great deal of her right thigh, shit like that.

I initially tried to dissuade by saying she had a beautiful body (and she truly did, at the time) and it would be a shame to cover it in such ugliness. I could tell this method was not working so I went about it another way. I forbade her from doing it and said if she did I would break up with her.

She abided my decision. Eventually the relationship started going south (she was getting way to into doom scrolling instagram & other stupid shit on her phone) and I broke up with her. So of course, as soon as she was "free" she went out and got her stupid fucking tattoos and immediately went from like an 8 or 9 physically to about a 5.

It's wild how dumb and susceptible to stupid trends chicks are. I hadn't seen or heard from her in a while but about a year ago I saw a recent picture of her, she's got even more dumb fucking tattoos & has put on at least 25 lbs so she looks like some biker gangs resident slam pig now. Damn shame.
