The Vatican does not own that property. The Vatican itself doesn't own any churches, it's just the authority behind their doctrine (like how the president doesn't own your house but you're still bound by the country's law). It would be the city and/or the parish that were involved in selling it.

Furthermore, I consider that Israel must be destroyed

No I'm not. Bound implies that I have to take affirmative actions in the name of the law. The proper term is "subject to."
