The Douay-Rheims bible says she was an Arab, who at the time would have been a mostly white race like the Israelites. Multiple areas are referred to as "Ethiopia" in the bible, one of which is the land of the blacks, but also an area inhabited by Arabs.

As this post post explains, Ethiopia was entirely White just as nearly all of the Middle East was and North Africa at the time. The arabs are the satyrs that invaded much later, and the niggers moved in after we left as well.
