It's also extremely corrupt at the top, the (very jewish) oligarchs at the top horde most of the wealth and prevent post-soviet reconstruction from happening as it should happen, Russia has the same problem it had in the 90s but a bit lessened. To some extent, issues can be blamed on "le socioeconomic factors". If you see high iq whites, like russians, living in a shitty situation, it probably is apt to blame socioeconomic issues. Poland is also made up of slavs but no longer has the post-1991 problem because they dont have oligarchs. East Germany is made up of germans but it's a shithole that resembles most of Russia and the ukraine because the German government fucking sucks.
Poverty does drive people to crime and degenerate behavior. Just because even rich niggers are worse off than poor whites in this regard doesn't make it less true. A rich nigger town is leagues ahead of the hood and a rich white country is leagues ahead of a broke one all the same.

Where eastern Germany really shines is its history. Particularly its martial history. Obviously, the prussians (who were eastern germans themselves, at least geographically, though ethnically they were hybrid baltics and germans) and their other east german allies conquered the former holy Roman empire and created the entirety of modern Germany, and then they fine tuned the most lethal army in the world. East Germany once again shone in its own right with the communist era, when they had a well oiled and professional military machine that combined the best attributes of the red army with the best of the wehrmacht, which was poised to take the western 3/4 of Germany faster than anyone could respond to it, and bulldoze the bundeswehr despite being much smaller in number.
This largely goes back to the middle ages. With the further and further eastern parts of Germany being settled by and founded by increasingly militaristic and fanatic knights and soldiers going back as far as Charlemagne, and the locals themselves being more and more resistant and violent Slavic, germanic, and baltic pagans as you get further and further from the former western roman empire. Combine these 2 groups of people and you get eastern germans and prussians.
