The post against Insurgent gained far more traction than I would have ever anticipated. About a year ago the complaints were limited to a very vocal minority including the OP. The complaints at the time were low effort nazi memes, harassment of patriots.win moderators and users, being a shill with an agenda of diluting the discussion and ensuring ConsumeProduct stays a containment board, vote manipulation and long lists of alleged alts, some real, quite a lot lacking any justification. About a dozen people (the afforementioned vocal minority) quit ConPro entirely over Insurgent being allowed to stay here, having pretty much ruined Arete's viability as a platform in the process. That entire chat had devolved into constant infighting, until eventually everyone left ConsumeProduct for good.
That all seems to have changed.
The people who frequented the Arete chat are not a representative sample of ConsumeProduct's user base, so I thought I'd ask this question here.
Do you agree with u/assttaskmanager's stance against Insurgent? Is him being allowed to post really such a significant issue as it is made out to be (i.e. actively harming the forum and a coordinated attack on it)?
Please share your opinion, even if that is simply to abstain from the drama.

I've been following this whole 'Insurgent' situation kind of closely, and honestly, it's getting tough to ignore. A year ago, the complaints were limited to a few loud voices. But this situation has devolved into an absolute nightmare, and it's clear that the issue is bigger than we initially thought.
All this has got me worried. I mean, really worried. This is more than just some user causing a ruckus. This is about the survival of our community. I'll just come out and say it: we need a final solution to this Insurgent problem or else, I'm afraid, this community won't survive. I know banning is a big move, but seriously, are we gonna let one bad apple spoil the whole bunch? We have some good apples here. We've gotta look out for each other, keep this place welcoming and open for the new folks.
Just sharing my piece though. I am simply just one of many. I'd love to hear what the rest of you think about this, even if you're just sippin' the sizzurp from the sidelines. We've gotta handle this together, one way or another.
