Eastern Europe was home to 60% of all jews prior to WWII and Poland was the most jewish nation in the world. Many Slavs were crypto-jews also that weren't necessarily recorded as jewish.

Modern anti-Nazi propaganda that is pushed to Slavic people is that Hitler hated Slavs and had millions killed. Although, Hitler did not consider the Slavs on-par with Germans (and he's right that Slavs are not on-par with Aryans), he didn't "hate" them and want to slaughter them all. Why were Slavic people opposed to Hitler? Many of these Slavs opposed Hitler because the Slavs were pro-jew and pro-jewish values. In this way, the Slavs opposed Hitler and thus they did need to be dealt with.
