To be fair, you are right. He looks like a subhuman goblin, and she looks like quite a decent woman. Even if she is a shapeshifter, the shapeshift is successful. Superficially he looks like a 2/10 and she looks like a 8-9/10.

*I* think she looks like an overworked (by plastic surgeons & cosmetic nurses & beauticans) yenta with a nice body but I accept to the average person who can't spot a jew she probably rates very highly and passes as White. I think a 2 seems pretty generous for him but I suppose he doesn't have any weird growths and seems tall.
