>you know, for instance, that i'm making a video game - would you tell me my months of hard work are for nothing? that i'm a fool not to resign and "spread truth", as you do? that it is cowardly, or that i'm living a lie?

Of course not. You’ve found something to keep your mind off the inevitable. That’s fine.

>not to succumb to what any of my real-world peers would have succumbed to - drugs, consumerism, alcohol, promiscuity, depression, sloth

Always admirable.

>why not spread willpower

Because every single time I’ve tried, people instantly stop doing it the moment my back is turned.

>even a Bible is reduced to a tool of evil if all you do is throw hardcover copies of it at people's heads.

Try telling them to read it for once in their lives and see how they treat you.

i wake up every day knowing the exact reasons i work and suffer, and go to sleep each night praying to God for the strength to keep going. i keep my mind off nothing, brother.

[you are not](https://i.imgur.com/8GiFQTL.png) the first to [have this problem](https://files.catbox.moe/f6qckh.png), i'm afraid.

ha, i get to cheat, here in Romania most people would probably agree they need to read the Bible more.
