Most accounts I saw said the revolution was mostly 'bloodless' but then again the people/journalists obsessed about controlling the narrative about the revolution are communist publications.

“Most accounts I saw said the revolution was mostly 'bloodless'”

IF TRUE, thats the worst kind. It’s somewhat equivalent to the hostile, and even violent people/streamers who then go on to say “it’s just a prank bro” when someone dares to push back on their bullshit. It allows them plausible deniability to then become the cry bully victim. This works when uninvolved good hearted moral people weren’t there from the start to see that the response didn’t happen in a vacuum. It works even better when you own, and/or can manipulate the perception of the populace with raw numbers of allies to push your narrative, and is magnified exponentially more when you also have the media.

Another tactic they love to use is the half truth and lies of omission which are way harder to deal with, especially in mOOder times, than just straight up lies. They love to muddy the weeds to lose you in the waters.

"in the final days of World War I. It quickly and almost bloodlessly brought down the German Empire, then, in its more violent second stage,"

The violence is very briefly mentioned.
