I think it'll take a while for people to fully accept this particular hoax. Your typical run-of-the-mill "conspiracy theory" doesn't require a lot of heavy lifting, intellectually speaking.

Pharmaceutical companies lobbying to push the vax? Google systematically breaking all ad-blocking technologies? Planned obsolescence of smart devices? Well that's just regular corporate greed, most people can swallow that pill no problem.

Gulf of Tonkin? The Gulf War? Even 9/11? Shit, everyone knows governments are warmongering bastards right? Not hard to believe they go to war for ulterior motives.

Epstein's clientele never getting investigated? Joe Biden pardoning his son before leaving office? Nancy Pelosi's incredible stock market track record? Just dirty politicians doing dirty politician things, nothing new.

But the moon? That's a whole other story. Accepting that one requires that you flip your entire world view upside down. Because it's not like some previous administration lied about some politically biased issue. It's an ongoing lie perpetuated by every government, corporation, school, college, your favorite YouTuber, and even grandma. You'd have to accept that the entire planet is full of shit. Super easy for a few autists, virtually impossible for most others.
