If we got paid in gold like Benjamin Franklin wanted, we would all be immune to inflation.

The monetary value of gold increasing is really a measure of the dollar value decreasing. Gold is a way of preserving wealth, not growing your wealth.

I'd agree if you don't recall what happened last time we had a depression. Gold was confiscated and made illegal to use to purchase items for more than 40 years in the us.

One should use gold and keep to it until things get better so one can use it to rebuild an asset portfolio. Silver should be used to barter. Anyway, a wheelbarrow of money today could buy just q loaf of bread tomorrow.

A wheel barrel of money is what brought Hitler to power. According to Time magazine he fixed the financial problems in Germany very quickly. Are we going to see a similar figure fairly soon?

That was exactly the reference I was going for subjectively.

No, unfortunately I don't think so. Pretty much everyone we get is a jewish psyop. When someone up and coming does not play their game their plan is character assassination followed by kinetic assassination when the former is not effective. I think we will see justice in this world only when Jesus shows up in a white horse with a sword in his hand.

This was mostly due to the fact that *everyone* used gold and silver prior to 1933. They needed to force people into paper and remove the redeemability of paper dollars for precious metals. It is by no means as ubiquitous today.

Wheelbarrows are worth more than money, change my mind.
