The original *"Smile"* is the only recent horror film worth a shit, because the actual mechanical creation of the film is part of the storytelling.

Watch *"Magic"* with Anthony Hopkins if you want a older good horror.

But also, why is this thread even in ConPro? Pretty sure there's a movie forum.
