Liberals self-report like this *all the time*. They're projecting the way *they* adopt ideas, because they truly believe this is the *only* way to adopt ideas.

You see, to them it really *is* the only way. Worker drones can't fathom the notion of drawing conclusions from observed reality. They can only adopt pre-baked conclusions handed down as decrees from authority figures. It's part and parcel of having no inner monologue, being unable to visually picture objects, not knowing how they'd've felt if they skipped breakfast yesterday, and collecting funko pops.
