You guys are stressing the use of BCE/CE but what i'd like to point out is that this Roman emperor has a buried, forgotten early life section in textbooks, has a huge hook nose, the statues suspiciously show him with normal size nose but all side view portraits of him show the huge hook, and he was relieving jews of taxes, and seemed to forgive jews too mercifully for their many revolts (think bolshevik revolution types) just a couple decades earlier.
Which raises the question. Were jews and crypto jews infiltrating the government of Rome? And if yes, why is that not accredited as a contributing factor to the downfall of Rome? Seems our history books are omitting the most important pieces of information.
