Perfect month for hiking. I have a nice bug out bag i put together with survival gear to live weeks in wilderness.
I also have a garmin gps solar power watch now that i can test out on trails. It's supposed to record my gps coordinates into the watch and then help me trace back to my truck or place of origin.
It's cool, but it's not going to work in a true survival SHTF situation. That tech relies on other tech that relies on electricity. Learn to reconnoiter with primitive equipment.
