So what is the difference between Catholics and Orthodox?

As for Protestants i already know they're kiked to the boot but i'd like to know whats the general consesus on what is the most based sect of Christianity, as i am not highly informed on this matter, thanks.

I don't think the "Great Schism" is very relevant to people alive today. Besides, hasn't the Orthodox and Catholics all but completely reconciled recently? Meaning, if you become Orthodox, the Catholics believe you are saved, and vice-versa?
