As for Protestants i already know they're kiked to the boot but i'd like to know whats the general consesus on what is the most based sect of Christianity, as i am not highly informed on this matter, thanks.

My understanding: Orthodox are awesome and I love them. Catholics are decent and I love them too.
Anyways, as far as the difference between the two, I think you'll find that Catholics are more "institutional" and Orthodox are more "community-based." Meaning, Catholics have a top-down hierarchy with all the corporate structure you'd expect. If that's your poison, you'll have a lot of fun being Catholic. Orthodox are more about building communities. If you join there, you'll become part of a tightly-knit community with a definite leader but lacking a lot of the corporate stuff you wouldn't expect to see in a mom-and-pop store.
As far as "based", probably Orthodox since they seem to be more connected with reality than Catholics. Catholics tend to be more left-leaning wherever they go.
