Part of me knows the UK deserves this for betraying Christendom to establish jewish world Hegemony, but its still awful that the modern Brits, who are basically powerless, are paying for the crimes of their forefathers.

I think they vastly underestimated the true evil of the race traitor Churchill. Again, they had no reason to distrust "their" governance and anyone who did was dismissed, understandably, as a fringe lunatic.
