Jail, and prison are legitimately family reunions, and a break from society for them where they can rest and relax. I’m not exaggerating. Worked in the system, and seen it first hand. Jail AT WORST is just a minor inconvenience to them.

Yup.
The are incapable of living in society, so a place where food, shelter, and clothing is provided for them, where they are surrounded by their own people and hold societal power is essentially their wakanda.
