Does anyone try to plan their life by seasons or quarters?

We've just entered the fall / autumn season (U.S.) and are approaching the fourth quarter of the year.

It's still something I'm adapting to being better about but roughly each season gives a "theme" to apply to various areas of life, for example people or businesses might put out "fall decorations" for this time of year (leaves, pumpkins, cornstalks, etc.).

A quarter is big enough to try to tackle some longer-term project, but small enough that it doesn't feel as overwhelming as a year or decade.

Does anyone like to try to plan certain things over longer or shorter periods of time?

What kind of planning ideas have you had for seasons or quarters?

Kind of. A lot of my hobbies are seasonal, blacksmithing when it's cold, gardening in the spring, more indoor stuff when it's hot, when it cools off in the fall I go hiking and camping. The food I cook changes depending on the season as well, but most people do this.

I try to frame things on the scale of day, week, fortnight, week, three months, year.

It might be a little autistic, but I hear they have a cure for that now

I do the same, I mean there are things that you do every day (gotta eat), some stuff to be done weekly (trash goes out), etc.

During the autumn I cull some of the timber and manufacture pikes, taper and stack them for curing.

I do that too. I'm in a semi-unique situation, but I make my plans around the quarters as well, more specifically the weather of the quarters, since I have snow on the ground for much of the 4th and 1st quarters. If something gets neglected, it gets pushed to the next year, same quarter usually. It kind of works, but this year everything went to hell because I started a new business and put all my focus (and employees focus) on that, so things like the patio cover and concrete pours I wanted to do over the summer at my house got skipped for this year since snow starts next month.
