This has been said before but:

Elon attended a jew school and says that he aspires to be jewish.

I don't think he is spawning in any Aryans any time soon.

I liked the internet better when there was no social media platform but you could get free webpages. For example you could get free hosted website through geocities. Then you had a limited amount of server space and a domain name maybe beginning with geocities but within that space you could host your own websites. And there wasn't much censorship at all. You could have gore or gambling or any spectrum of politics.

The thought of being monitored by moderators on x or Facebook just seems like a daycare for adults. It's dumbed down so that stupid people can easily use the internet, whereas it used to be more catered and designed for based nerds

I also hate using a phone to be one internet. I also hate phone apps. So I always prefer a desktop in an office space setting. Keep phones for calls and texts only. Avoid apps whenever possible.

I made a post about this a while back, pointing out things that fundamentally need to change about the internet so we can get back to the "good old days."

Those days cannot come back. The reason why is simply this: It is valuable, and so people are going to try and exploit it for economic gain. Period.

The only real way to make it work is to take a few steps backward down the technology tree. I'm being quite serious that we'd solve a lot of spam issues if we went back to basic phone calls or even telegraph machines. If people had to be selective about how they place calls and receive calls. Limit the number of possible connections, that sort of thing.

What about the tor and onion project? Cant' just about anyone host their webpages through a tor network without having to register domains or play with bureaucracy?

So, having worked in this space decades ago...

The issue with personalized feeds is that it takes a lot of compute power to figure out what each person wants to see. So much, in fact, that it becomes cost-prohibitive.

AI doesn't solve this problem. It never can.

The only way Amazon got around this problem is they didn't personalize feeds. They personalized *products*. So they would grab the last X products you viewed or bought, pull up a list of which products are connected to those, and showed you those products. They never did the full MxN comparison of all the products you bought or viewed and how you connect with other users and what they bought. They just noted that "People who buy X also buy Y", put that in a table, and looked up you last 10 products or whatever.

Maybe what Elon is talking about is allowing someone to provide parameters to their recommendation engine (that's all this kind of AI would be) and then allow multiple people to view that feed. That *may* work, provided the number of people allowed to do this is relatively low, or they pay they cost of computing recommendations somehow.

But you are never going to get personalized recommendations for individuals because it will never be cost-effective to do so.

He mated with like 10 different women, including some very good breeding stock white women, including his first wife [Justine Wilson](https://cdn.i-scmp.com/sites/default/files/d8/images/canvas/2022/06/23/9b9b3be5-c08a-4652-ab68-ef091701fc01_c5c5a176.jpg) who he had 6 children with.
