What specialist skill/skills are you actively cultivating to assure your usefulness no matter the state of the world?

Lately, I started fixing shit myself. Simple home repairs, simple car repairs, learning how relays work, soldering etc. Playing with CAD for 3d printing as well, which opens up a whole new world of stuff one can do (once you can make your own models you can make all sorts of brackets and whatnot for your own needs)
