Hitler understood that a large percentage of the population is incapable to resist social pressure, i.e. will do whatever the media tell them to do. That's how the majority of people function.
That's why democracy is an abomination. But that's also why you can't really blame or seek retaliation against Whites who became liberals/leftists/communist out of a genuine belief that it was the right thing to do. They need to be reformed and redeemed.
In the 1932 elections the communists got 3 million votes. Hitler won the hearts and minds of those people who voted communism, he didn't start putting everyone in concentration camps just because they didn't agree with him.
Those 3 million Germans who voted for the communists almost all of them became loyal to the White race and abandoned their old beliefs. The proof of that is that when the Third Reich was collapsing there was no internal revolution, as virtually all Germans supported the NatSoc.
All the SS had to do was to executed a few thousands Jewish communist revolutionaries that were in camps to prevent them from mass murdering Germans after the war.

Hitler rose to power because German Christians wanted someone to stop the jew from enslaving everyone and stealing everything.
Yes, I was saying that the the 99% of those who voted the KPD (voted for it at the elections, I'm not talking about party leadership) were not enemies, they were German people who believed that they could improve the condition of the workers and society in general with communism. Hitler didn't treat them as enemies, but as misled Germans.

Yes that is certainly the main reason why Hitler was elected: to defend Europe from the communist Jews.
There were even a small minority of Jews (mostly bourgeois) who supported the NSDAP knowing that the Bolshevik Jews would have destroyed them too.
