Looking to change careers to the highest income profession possible. Only requirement is that it requires no more than 4 years of education and its not oversaturated.
I'm considering electrician. I would gladly get into a rare trade like elevator mechanic but its impossible to get into. Bachelors degrees seem pretty much useless at this point because good trades jobs are paying $100k without the student debt.
I'm not an electrician but i bet i could figure it out with some internet research, source good panels, good batteries, draw up a wiring diagram, source some good control module / switch equipment to be the brains, run the conduit, etc.
Also you should research a really good multimeter and start putting together a professional electricians tool kit. Break out excel spreadsheet and start researching what tools every pro electrician recommends in tool bag.
Also start sourcing common components. Fuses, wiring, wire nuts, fish tape, fuses, switches, conduit, boxes, etc.
