Christianity is pro-castration, emperors/popes had to prohibit it time to time because fanatics loved to chop off balls (e.g. [Skoptsy](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skoptsy), probably the most recent example). Not to mention Christianity endorses homosexual acts (e.g. holy kiss) and even basically male marriage (Adelphopoiesis).
