He already lost consciousness when his hands shot up in a natural reflex of flight or fight response to protect his neck or maybe I should say protect its neck because the body reacted on its own. His last moments were a sudden surge of fear and adrenaline. Then a loud ringing and hazy vision on top of vertigo. Had the bullet not damaged his spine, he might have also wobbled away from harms way, unconscious and half-dead.

The human brain never had to face guns in our evolution. It didn't know its over and it kept fighting for his life. Sad sight, man. Wouldn't wish this upon my enemies.

The person who downvoted this is a scumbag. I'm a psycho but I'm a man of principles first and foremost. I will never be so jaded that I murder people I disagree with. Especially Kirk who in fact criticized Israel strongly at times if anybody cared to listen to those parts.

Edit: damn, i have too much aura. he changed his downvoted after an hour.

Thanks fren. Yes, the impact of the bullet must have rippled through his body and damaged his brain. And his hand movement is unrelated to protecting his organs.
