This is not even comparable to the assassination attempt on Trump, where the guy fired multiple shots and missed. The person who killed Charlie knew what they were doing, aiming at the jugular artery, possibly a professional. The fact that they couldn't even find the person makes no sense. How long is it going to take for someone to escape the roof top and get away with it? Isn't US intelligence so good it can catch people doing crimes from different parts of country and even the world? If they don't catch the person it's because it WAS an inside job..
Also the number of people who’ve never shot a gun, claiming that a 200 yard shot on a stationary target is some amazing feat “only a professional could pull off” is too damn high.
At 200 yards would there be much bullet drop? Maybe he was aimed into the head and just didn't account for bullet drop.
Assuming he shot something like .308?? Like 3 inches, maybe?
Also bullet drop is irrelevant if you know the distance you're shooting from. You simply zero the rifle scope at any range you like and your bullet arc will bring the round near the center of your crosshair at that range.
> I could see myself hitting with relative accuracy at 200 yards if I spent a few hours beforehand practicing especially given the quality of firearms and optics that are available to civilians.
Literally anyone here with the exception of the jeets and kikes can hit a human sized stationary target at 200 yards with a days worth of practice. It isn't some remarkable feat.
I've never shot a rifle like that, only a few pistols (a couple of different glocks and a CZ), some shotgun, and a couple of AK variants with and without optics. The range I was shooting at was maybe like 70 meters at the furthest so didn't really think about bullet drop much. Guns aren't super popular here.

What is that video supposed to prove? Do you know what shooting 1 MOA even means? I suggest you learn more about the subject matter if you're trying to argue over it.
For anyone that's curious, hitting a human sized target at 200 yards you need to be accurate within 10 MOA. Charlie Kirk was a large guy at 6' 5" tall. Making him even easier to hit than the average person.
Everyone in your video with the exception of the 8 year old that missed could've made the shot.
The shooter was just sitting on the rooftop for however long he needed. It's not like anyone was actively trying to stop him.
Also I'm pretty sure if you told people they're being recorded for a youtube video with a channel with 1,000,000 subscribers, they might be a little bit nervous as well.
All that being said, it's still 10 MOA to hit a human target at 200 yards, unless the guy is having a seizure and is half retarded, it isn't difficult for him to make the shot.
No matter who made that shot, under those circumstances, and at that distance, it wasn’t easy like many want to keep suggesting.

To get to 1moa hand loads or premium match grade ammo is basically required. Common cartridges like m855 hit around 3 or 4moa, even if your rifle and aim are flawless.
Beyond that the rifle needs to have a barrel/crown in good condition, and everything must be tight and torqued correctly. This is a common issue in my experiance since most people dont bother with a torque driver and shooting rattles things loose if you dont.
Last, and this is just my personal opinion, but the higher zoom the better on your scope. If you're at 4x everything seems stable, you put the crosshairs on the target and pull; but switch to 24x and all of a sudden the target's bobbing around like crazy and you realize you have to be much more careful than you thought.
