It's lag, the mouth movements come about 3/4 of a second after the word. Simple desync, not manipulation that I see.

That's just my assessment. Watch the video carefully. It is OK at first, but at the timestamp I mentioned, the gestures and mouth movements stop matching what is being said. It's not even subtle, IMO.
