"Mental illness" is literally just a way of describing how big of an asshole someone is, to the extent that their vile existence is so predictably terrible that we can describe, in literature, an accurate prediction of their future behavior.

What's the actual difference between someone with, say, """bipolar disorder""" and someone who is just a huge fucking shithead who simply acts upon a rotten personality? Simple: the "bipolar" can check boxes on a list that 'qualify' them. Nothing stops anything from being a mental illness: you just write a name and make a list of boxes to check. There's no "test".

Did you know that the 'brain chemical imbalance' was something psychiatrists believed was real for decades, and has only recently been dropped, because objective fact-based testing showed it was never real? This happened in the last 10 years. 5, actually, I think.

How do you suppose something that was 'never real' ever was believed to be real in the first place? Simple: they literally just made it the fuck up, because psychiatry is a completely fraudulent non-science that exists only to employ psychiatrists.

It's like addiction. Addiction, generally, is not real. Physical addiction is real, because we can actually test nerve endings and see changes made to chemical receptors that are the primary cause of things like the intense pain one feels when under heroin withdrawal.

But mental addiction? It isn't real, and it takes a long time of 'mental' addiction to get to the 'physical' addiction part. Addiction is simply a reflection of being a fucking loser: someone who is too pathetic and weak to just... *not* do something. Nobody forces you to buy more cigarettes, you literally can just stop buying them. I have no idea where I could get Fentanyl, it takes some degree of effort to seek it out, and it costs money, it's not like Fentanyl just grows on your walls like mold and you get exposed to it just by sitting in your living room watching TV. Every step of the process of getting high requires deliberate effort, and that means every step of the process can be stopped whenever you want.

But we treat addicts like they're victims, and not just worthless, weak, pathetic fuck-ups.

You can CHOOSE to not be a prick. You can CHOOSE to not do drugs. But we've created this shit-tier post-Weimar society that paints the worst and most disposably worthless people like they need "help", when everything they do is their own fucking fault.

Came to say this. Clearly, OP has never witnessed mental illness.
