"Mental illness" is literally just a way of describing how big of an asshole someone is, to the extent that their vile existence is so predictably terrible that we can describe, in literature, an accurate prediction of their future behavior.

What's the actual difference between someone with, say, """bipolar disorder""" and someone who is just a huge fucking shithead who simply acts upon a rotten personality? Simple: the "bipolar" can check boxes on a list that 'qualify' them. Nothing stops anything from being a mental illness: you just write a name and make a list of boxes to check. There's no "test".

Did you know that the 'brain chemical imbalance' was something psychiatrists believed was real for decades, and has only recently been dropped, because objective fact-based testing showed it was never real? This happened in the last 10 years. 5, actually, I think.

How do you suppose something that was 'never real' ever was believed to be real in the first place? Simple: they literally just made it the fuck up, because psychiatry is a completely fraudulent non-science that exists only to employ psychiatrists.

It's like addiction. Addiction, generally, is not real. Physical addiction is real, because we can actually test nerve endings and see changes made to chemical receptors that are the primary cause of things like the intense pain one feels when under heroin withdrawal.

But mental addiction? It isn't real, and it takes a long time of 'mental' addiction to get to the 'physical' addiction part. Addiction is simply a reflection of being a fucking loser: someone who is too pathetic and weak to just... *not* do something. Nobody forces you to buy more cigarettes, you literally can just stop buying them. I have no idea where I could get Fentanyl, it takes some degree of effort to seek it out, and it costs money, it's not like Fentanyl just grows on your walls like mold and you get exposed to it just by sitting in your living room watching TV. Every step of the process of getting high requires deliberate effort, and that means every step of the process can be stopped whenever you want.

But we treat addicts like they're victims, and not just worthless, weak, pathetic fuck-ups.

You can CHOOSE to not be a prick. You can CHOOSE to not do drugs. But we've created this shit-tier post-Weimar society that paints the worst and most disposably worthless people like they need "help", when everything they do is their own fucking fault.

I was initially going to write a full takedown of how stupid OP's post is, but this morning I'm in just gonna phone it in and say—yeah, I agree.

Came to say this. Clearly, OP has never witnessed mental illness.

It is somewhat true, namely the fabrication of mental disorders with worthless psychology faggots and pushing it into the victimhood ideology, so that they have an excuse to be entitled assholes. Covid (=THE FUCKING FLU) has shown us to what level the retardation can go.

But there are actual mental disorders. For example misophonia - when people chew and slurp it induces a strong sense of disgust and rage. It's both the sound and visuals. I have that, but I try to keep it in check. That's the reason why at my previous work place sometimes I had to put on headphones and listen to music, because some fucking imbecile next to me had to chew and slurp their bullshit. Nobody at that work place knew I had that problem.

Then there are irrational phobias. Autism too. Down syndrome. Things like ADHD however are the result of men being unable to sit through boring slogs of bullshit in school.

You've correctly pinpointed a problem, but your conclusion isn't correct.

ADHD is real because we see how coffee and meth affects them differently. Other mental illnesses have their own drugs they respond to.

This is somewhat true but more false than true. Yes, mental illnesses are too broad but there are definitely patterns. Most can be fixed but it takes a tremendous effort from the individual and it needs proper life context and time.

Both mental illneses and addictions change your brain chemistry and activity, its why they are so hard to fix. Meds just fake the fix and make the problem worse.

Generally to fix any of that implies a great degree of suffering and distress, to which most people are not used to.

And low tolerance to suffering/discomfort is what creates these problems to begin with

Do you have anything to back this up? Because we know there are such things as neuro-chemicals that influence how people feel and even think, and something as basic as food or sleep can affect them.

Why wouldn't there be disorders caused by the body failing to produce or regulate them properly?
