Your rage is justified, your call for capital punishment is correct, the desire for torture is not. It serves no purpose other than to feed the darkness in you and the chaos in the world. It's not like a high time-preference impulsive nigger will be deterred by the threat of torture.
Humans get punished. Non humans do not get human treatment and should be made as a public example in front of everyone to watch as a future deterrent. Giving something that isn’t even human humanity is a crime by itself
So by that logic, say you have a dog that mauled a child. Does torturing it before putting it down accomplish anything? No. You just put it down.
I do not disagree that executions should be public and visceral. Hanging, firing squad, guillotine, etc. You should not hide or sanitize mortal justice. But you should take a stoic approach about anything involving your passions.
You sound like a dumb nigger. This is the dumbest shit i have heard. Comparing an abomination part man part beast to an animal. No animal behaves like niggers
You are right, and I must admit the vitriol of my bloodlust is a result of years of absolutely nothing being done to balance the scales.
When we get to the point that these creatures are unceremoniously dispatched as a matter of course, I will be more than content to treat it as a necessary chore rather than losing myself in the slaughter.
Always appreciate your posts, and I know we both attempt to follow Stoic principles, though you are clearly doing a better job of living them than I.
Thanks, it's a matter of self control. I won't act like I haven't had similar reactions to various tragedies. The world is fucked and it's vert likely barbarism is in our future. But it's important to recognize and control passions so you don't become the animal you despise. It is a modernist liberal idea to conflate any capital punishment or mortal combat with sadistic bloodlust. They are two different things. And treatment of traitors is different than treatment of enemies, of course. But that is another conversation.
"Death, is a punishment."
"Cruelty, is an example."
"Death teaches, one man!"
"A proper torment, educates the masses!"
