I’m undecided on this because both Dems and GOP won’t stop pushing gun control until there is a prohibition on civilians owning guns. I’m afraid they won’t just ban trannys from owning guns. They will make it so that “mentally unstable” people can’t own guns. They will be able to make it easier to disarm anyone they want. Basically Red Flag laws 2.0.

Already done, 1968 GCA added background checks before an FFL can sell and that's one of the categories that fails the check.
