And it's easy to be cool when you are conscious of your public image - not because you give into peer pressure, but because you realize what is and isn't appropriate for the public to see.
Furthermore, driving gas-guzzling cars is cool. Grilling meat is cool. Shooting guns is cool. Raising a family is cool.
You know what isn't cool?
Being a cuck in an open relationship. Simping and protesting for sub-85s who don't care about you. Funkos. Labubus. Riding short buses. Going to Dropkick Murphys concerts.
