Why four object lessons in failure?
Achilles was a narcissistic prat who cared more about feuding with Agamemnon than his people (though admittedly, that was practically normal in those tales). He is remembered for being given near-invulnerability and dying in spite of it. Why not Hector? Why not Odysseus, who actually survived the entire tragedy?
The south invaded the north and lost, and was cursed with decades of 'reconstruction'. The Nazis broke their word, invaded Russia, lost, and the women left behind were gang-raped by russians or prostituted themselves to brits and americans for food.
I mean shit, is this really what any of us want next? Another fucking failure?
I'm sorry to be so negative, I agree with the tagline. Fuck capeshit, fuck superpowers, fuck jewed out media, but damn do I hate the alternative given.
How about Jesus Christ, Emperor Titus, Charles Martel, and Jan III Sobieski?
